Belong25 | Statement from our CEO

“Since 2002, when I joined The SR Group, I’ve been lucky enough to work with colleagues from every part of the globe with incredibly different stories, experiences and outlook, all united by their talent and dedication.

I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together – we’ve quadrupled our permanent headcount, opened 12 new offices and created opportunities for professional development, travel and career advancement for hundreds of people worldwide.

As we head into the next phase of our growth, it’s important that we make sure more of those opportunities are there for everyone.

That’s why we’ve launched Belong25 – a project driven and owned by our employees that will form the backbone of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives at The SR Group. It’s an opportunity for us to challenge one another, an opportunity to change what doesn’t work and celebrate what does and an opportunity for everyone across our business to get more involved in projects that really matter to them.

Although we’re still in the first phase, the response from our people has been exceptional.  An overwhelming number of people globally volunteered their time for focus groups and to ask, “how can I help?”. We’ve had spontaneous feedback that has been really thoughtful and insightful and people have gone out of their way to tell us how much they want to get involved.

We’re grateful to our partners at Brook Graham for working with us to shape our journey. We’ve invested in their expertise to uncover our blind spots, help build our strategy and ensure we are accountable for driving meaningful change. We aren’t naïve about the challenges involved but are committed to our goal of inclusion in all aspects of what we do, for everyone who works with and for us.”
