A Brief History of the Group

1987: Brewer Morris, specialists in taxation recruitment founded by Peter Morris and Mark Brewer.
1989: Nick Root joined The SR Group and launched the legal division, Taylor Root.
1996: Launched Frazer Jones – specialists in Human Resources recruitment.
1998: Group gained international presence, with office opening in Sydney.
1998: Increased international presence with Hong Kong office launch.
1999: UK expansion through Leeds office opening.
2000: Launched Carter Murray, specialists in Marketing recruitment.
2004: Acquired ‘HR Matters’ in Sydney, further increasing sector and international presence.
2005: Edinburgh office opened taking The SR Group North of the Border.
2006: Opened UK office in Birmingham.
2006: Opened in Melbourne.
2007: London office relocation to state-of-the-art premises – 95 Queen Victoria Street.
2007: Opened UK office in Manchester.
2007: Opened in Dubai.
